Idol Mahjong Final Romance 2 was originally a arcade game for NeoGeo that now arrives to the Nintendo Switch. SNK released some independent NeoGeo Pocket Color games in the eShop, then not that long ago released a digital compilation of those games + 4 new ones and some other extras with the promise of a physical release too… aside of “summer” we don’t really have a release date, BUT, now we know when the preorders will open, April 22nd.
As SNK has been doing lately (thankfully), they have partnered with Pix’n’Love for Europe and Limited Run Games for USA (of course you can order from any of the shops, but given how is the world currently picking the closer one to you is recommended), there are a normal version and Collector Edition in both shops and of course they are different.

After many months relegating my very own blog, something forced me to update it… yep, Mai Shiranui.
We already knew she was included in KOF XV (still with no date or even systems for release) but it’s very nice to finally get her presentation video, aside of the new 3D model we can see some old moves coming back and even a few new/altered ones!. Personally i love that her “ohohoho!” laugh is back (well it’s also in SNK Heroines but it has been missing from main games for a long while).
With King and Yuri presented previously, it looked like the classic Women Fighters team would make a come back, but it wasn’t the case. If the stages are indication of anything (probably not) it might be that Mai and Yuri are in the same team, personally i would love a Fatal Fury Women Team (Mai, Mary and Alice) and a Art of Fighting Women Team (King, Yuri and Kasumi).

There isn’t a lot to say, one of the best games ever is finally available for Switch. My recommendation is easy: just buy it, alone or in the NeoGeo Pocket Color collection Vol. 1.

In 2020, after many delays, Blaze introduced a new portable, the Evercade, this is a new portable (that you can connect to the TV through a mini HDMI, the same output that the NeoGeo Mini) with a very focused objective, 8 and 16 bits retro collectors that instead of digital downloads they (and I) want their games in cartridges with beautiful cases and instruction manual, just like in the good old days… and that’s becoming more and more expensive by the day if you want to get the original games.
