Let’s take a look to the “Perfect Box” of the Steam Heart’s & V.G. Advanced (Variable Geo Advanced) Saturn Tribute for Nintendo Switch.

First, there isn’t a lot to talk about and the box itself is pretty much the coolest item of the pack ^_^u, there aren’t exactly a lot of goodies aside of the game.

All the first prints of the game got a booklet with the special attacks of Variable Geo and the power up system of Steam Heart’s… it is kind of  like the instruction manual for both games.

OK, aside of the cool box, it also comes with a pretty cool book with illustrations and designs for both games by the sadly deceased Takahiro Himura (Godannar, Gun x Sword, Code Geass, Gaogaigar…). In the gallery at the bottom you can see more pictures of the book (and all the other items).

Getting the soundtrack in CDs used to be the bare minimum of any collector edition, it’s not so common nowadays but thankfully we get i here too.

Finally there are the 2 games in 1 card. Advanced V.G. was a pretty good fighting game in its days… it didn’t come close to the classics of Capcom and SNK, but still pretty fun to play it still today… and then there is Steam Heart’s, the better game of the two if you ask me, a quite awesome vertical shooter with some erotic elements (that has been cut back for this edition). As you can guess the main hook of both games were the ladies designed by the mentioned Takahiro Himura.
